The ground floor 1 bedroom apartment has central air and heat which the tenant pays for, city water which is included in the rent, ceiling fans in two rooms, hardwood floors in living and bedroom and ceramic tile kitchen and bathroom floors. Eat in kitchen, two entrances, curbside mail and garbage services. The other 5 units are efficiencies, meaning the one large room (about 15 x 15') serves as a combined living room and bedroom with a little kitchen and little bathroom off to the side in separate rooms, completes the apartment. Three of the 5 units have "eat in kitchens" meaning there is space to put a table and chairs. The two upstairs units in the front of the building do not. Their kitchen opens onto the upstairs balcony where there is a table and chairs or a dinette can be added into the one big room. Three of the 5 units cook with gas and two are electric. All of the 5 have gas heat, which is included in the rent. The 5 efficiencies have room air conditioners and ceiling fans. Electricity, gas, water & garbage is included in the rent of $500/month. The one bedroom unit, which pays own electric bill. Because of the age of the building, there is no room for much insulation between floors and apartments so quiet tenants are a must.  If you are sowing your wild oats; like to rock the music loud after 9pm, have a fair amount of company in and out and stay up late and entertain, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.  Neighbors must be respectful of each other and quiet after 9pm. A small parking lot behind the building provides one space for each residence. A small city parking lot across the street is also available. The large front porch is to be shared and enjoyed by all residents. First, last and security deposit is required to move in as well as an application fee of $50 and an approved application. Applications can be picked up 1 1/2 blocks away at Grumbles House Antiques & Garden Shop 20799 Walnut St. Dunnellon, where the office for the apartments is housed. Applications can be mailed by calling Grumbles to make the request. (352) 465-1460. No pets allowed.
